can I fix this: instrument cluster

Was going to do the v6 gauge swap in the 87 and found this on the P.C.B.
1.Can it be fixed?
2.Is it just for the lights.
3.should I try to find another gauge panel?

yeah, just solider a piece or wire to each side of the split, just make sure u get the solider on the wire first and then touch it to the board. that way u wont burn the board too much.

It almost looks like someone tried a prior repair and it burned out again.

A good resource:

Soldering flex circuit is a PITA.

Just be careful or you'll mess it up more than it already is.

you need to check the other side of that circuit (flip the board over but it probably sealed) and see if there is a resistor, cap or something popped..
.I would just find another instrument cluster
