I just replaced clutch and flywheel slight whine

Hey guys new to the site so hope im posting this in the right place.I just put in a new luk clutch kit Pilot, throw out and clutch. when I have the pedal pressed down no noise, fully released no noise, but when starting out from first a slight whine starts once the pedal leaves the floor until it is fully released. Did I do something wrong or could this be new clutch and flywheel wearing in together any help would be much appreciated Thanks in advance!

its hard to really say with out having something to listen to to tell about the noise, make a video of the noise and post it might help us tell u more if its normal.

Mine made a slight whine.......just faint enough to be noticeable......for about 2-3 days and then it went away. Everything mechanically has always worked fine. No idea but glad it left.

those luk clutches your supposed to match up with a luk flywheel. idk why. i just know there warranty is voided if you don't. said so on the instruction booklet when i was gonna put on in a ford f-250.

sounds like clutch noise/chatter. but a video/ sound clip would help.

Usually a whineing noise after a clutch means there is grease or oil on the clutch disc itself. I always just take brake cleaner and hose it down and air dry it before I do the final instal.
