Aux plug won't fit

Aux plug won't fit
I recently bought a male to male mini plug for my 4Runner so I can listen to my Zune through the aux port. However, when I try to put the plug in it won't go in all the way, and I can feel it hitting some obstruction in the aux port. Any suggestions, or possibly how I could get a look at the thing? It's sort of in a weird spot to get at.
