Hey. I have a (94) 3vze that I purchased, it does run.
I did a comp.test - all 6 about 155-170 psi. In the process of pulling intake air tube off throttle body, found quite a bit of oil in there. And in tube back towards air filter. Looks like theres oil beyond the throttle plate as well.

Anyone have a clue as to why that might be getting oil, or from where? TIA

I know precisely why. You have a malfunctioning PCV valve, either that or the hose from it to the plenum chamber is clogged/cracked/leaking. Have you found these things yet? Here's a clue, on top of the passenger's side valve cover. Here's another, if you'd like those compression #s to stay that way and not get any worse, fix it ASAP.

 

i was just going to go test my pcv valve too. and wow , how much more inconvenient could that be.

and just to clarify, i am looking at the right part arent i?
its the only tube that goes into the rear of the passenger side valve cover?
