Hi guys, my first newbie post. Been in a few forums, all related to motorcycles though.

So this is the deal: when I start my truck from dead cold it runs fine until it reaches normal opperation temp. Then it hesitates at idle and eventually stalls.

It felt like a cilinder was missing so I changed distribiutor cap and cables, no go. My mechanic lies to me, he doesn't have a clue.

Any ideas?

sounds like your coil is going out barrow a friends and try it. cause coils will work fine till they heat up then not so start there might want to find a new mechanic too? lol...
