1986 4Runner DLX - Oregon - $9000 - Anyone will like this ;)

Please PM me or post with any questions.

This is the nicest 4Runner I have ever seen- most of its life it was pulled behind a Class A motorhome.

It's not in showroom condition, but it's very nice; OG paint in excellent condition.

Rear seats have been covered with custom covers since new; front seats were covered since new up until last year when my buddy took them off and trashed them :mad3:

Exterior- Body has 313k miles on it
-Excellent OG paint and graphics
-No dents- a few minor door dings can be seen only by looking down the side from the front or back
-Brand new widshield
-TG rear tube bumper
-Clear/Red tails- I hate the factory amber color- turns still flash amber
-LED plate lights look great at night
-2nd gen grill with Lexus emblem- got the truck with no grill and had this one new sittin around- core support wasn't modified in any way; OG grill could be re-installed without any issues
-PIAA fog lights tucked under front bumper installed with custom brackets and light up the road great at night
-Sealed beam headlights replaced with after market units with replaceable H4 bulbs

Interior-
-Rear seats have been covered since the truck was new as have the front seats- up until last year when the PO took them off(don't ask, I have no idea why). With that said, the seats are in perfect shape
-Interior is in overall excellent shape
-As stated above- most of the miles put on this truck were done being pulled behind a motor home- not with a driver in the seat
-SR5 cluster
-I replaced the factory (blue)ARB compressor and front locker rockers with red lens units and installed a matching Carling Contura Fog Lights swtch
-Air locker and fog lights switch mounted in factory dash pocket to the left of the steering column. The three switches fit perfect, look great, and are easy to reach
-Nice Alpine head unit
-F150 A-pillar handles take the stress off the steering column and door hinges and make gettin in easy- and look like they were put there at the factory
-Grant GT black anodized and leather wrapped wheel

Engine-
-22RE long block from Oregon Engine Rebuilders Inc bored .30 over and with RV cam has less than 3k miles on it
-AFM and battery swapped
-Downey header
-Magnaflow Hi-Flow cat(new with engine)
-Stock 5-speed transmission
-Marlin 1,200lb clutch(new with engine)

Suspension- Everything has less than 3k miles on it
-TG 5" front spring with bottom leaf removed
-TG 5" rear springs with bottom two leaves removed
-5150 14" shocks front and rear
-Stainless brake lines

Axles/Tires/Wheels- Also has less than 3k miles on everything
-Front axle rebuilt with all new seals and Japanese bearings(TG truss, armor, and steering)
-High pinion 3rd with Yukon 5.29's
-ARB air locker
-Longfield chromo IFS hub gears
-Long spline shaft
-'91 rear end with new bearings and seals
-Yukon 5.29's
-Detroit full locker
-New 35" MT/R's and full size spare(old bald 35")
-15"x8" wheels
-1.5" wheel spacers up front

If you didn't catch it, this truck was 100% stock up until it was 'axled. Everything is fresh and either new or like new.

This is my DD, and I live in Oregon, so keeping it picture worthy is difficult, but I'll try to get some better interior pics ASAP.

The only "Bad" is that the rear drive shaft hasn't been lengthened, so when coasting(no load on the drive line), there is a slight vibration- completely goes away under load. It's not a vibration that can even be felt, just heard. I have a top shift case that I was going to throw in, and didn't want to have the drive line lengthened just to have it shortened again for duals. I'll send the case along with the truck or could have a new shaft made(by Brian at Driveline Tech here in town) if you would like.

PO(buddy of mine) removed the A/C for whatever reason, but gave me everything needed for re-installation and said it worked great before he pulled it...removing the A/C just happens to be when he cracked/broke the OG grill. If the A/C was a deal-breaker, I could have it installed and working by time of purchase.

Truck runs and drives great- I really love it and hate to sell it. It handles great on the road and performed well the little bit I've had it off road.

Aright, some pics-

Any drivetrain binding ? That front axle angle looks awefully tight to the front yoke...
