opinions on the ITM engine rebuild kit for the 3vze

Im in the process of rebuilding my 3vze and was wondering if anyone has ever used the ITM engine rebuild kit? I would be using everything the kit offers. Has anyone had any issues with any of there products like the pistons, bearings, rings, oil pump etc?

I didn't use an entire kit from them. But when I rebuilt mine I used ITM pistons and wrist pins in a re-ring kit I found for cheap. They seem to be working just fine. No issues to report.

How many miles do you have on the build since? Would you recommend the kit?

~6000. Yeah I'd recommend the kit I bought. NPR rings are OEM quality, and the pistons and pins appeared to be too. I can't speak on ITM's other stuff, but I'm sure they'll do just fine.

This this is kit I bought:

These are the same, but cheaper. I would have bought these but they weren't cheaper when I was looking for the cheapest kit I could find.

THE HEAD GASKETS ARE UPSIDE DOWN AND BACKWARDS!!!!! I bought them during my headgasket rebuild and they were backwards and upside down. I ordered some rock/felpro/OEM gaskets and they were way different from the ITM crap.

Theres a few threads about em.

What head gaskets? Who said anything about head gaskets? We're talking about engine rebuild kits(pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, water pump). NOT engine gasket kits! Big difference. If you bought an ITM head gasket kit, it only contained the gaskets you needed to replace the during the HG replacement procedure. And definitely did not contain any actual engine parts. And for the record, replacing the HGs is not in any way considered a "rebuild". And which was it, Rock, Fel-Pro, or OEM? They're all different you know?

BTW, I know all about the upside down HGs, those threads were started by ME! And I certainly WAS NOT recommending anything of the sort here. I wasn't even aware you could get head gaskets, or any gaskets, from ITM. Their engine parts appear to be just fine though. Atleast their pistons and wrist pins are, which are working perfectly fine for me even after 6000 miles.
