Does it fit the G52 trans (what I have) or just W56 transmissions? I know that the shifters for the trans and the transfer case are closer together on my G52 than on W56's.

Thanks a lot TRDevelopment! J.K., I'm having a hard time finding this part for my '85 SR5 4x4 & am comtemplating building one out of sheet metal & covering it w/grey vinyl..just to be done w/it & not worry about busting it! Sleepr71.

They're still out there. Called my buddy at the dealer and the grey is still available, now for 86.00, used to be 100.00. They're in the Portland, OR depot and the LA depot. This particular boot fits the 5spd DLX. Good luck

Use this VIN for reference "JT4VN62N8K0040512". It is off a 4R I just parted. It had the brown/tan interior with the shift boot exactly like the one pic'd above (if that is what you're looking for specifically), just a different color and totally trashed. Now that I think about it my 88 Runner began it's life with a 22re / W56 with this boot. The Runner I parted had the 3vz / R150. The deisgn appartenly works for both set-ups, I think it is just a DLX (non SR5) specific part...D

Sorry, to go off op's topic...this info might be relavant to somebody in the future.....

Are there any aftermarket options for these? Like cnc'd aluminum?
