dirk,

search "maintenance schedule". i posted a very good pdf attachment on what you should do.

wait...you did your own timing belt but didnt replace the water pump and the thermo? i wouldve done the water pump (or at least had the dealer do both!)

I think I have a recall on my head gasket so I'm gonna see if they can do the T-belt,water pump and a few other things that will reduce the labor since mine's just under 90k right now.

dirk,

yes, these are the prices in LA from Longo Toyota.

what is the blue shaded portion? and i assume it's just inspection on most of the stuff. thanks, dd
do you mean the light green shaded part? if so, there's a key at the bottom that says "total replacement of parts/fluid". that means they're not just "topping it off" or looking at the part.

Dirk (Clive Cussler fan?)-
I had a dealer here in Colorado change my timing belt. They charged $250. That didn't include the water pump.
The plugs, brakes, etc I do myself just to save a few $$$.

Just thought I'd chime in with a price comparison

I'm really hoping I just have to pay for the water pump/Tbelt parts and plugs when they do my head gasket recall so I'm hoping to keep it under $300 for the whole thing.
