Seats Sag Inward (87 4runner)

maybe i couldn't think of the right key-words tonight,
but i couldn't find anything on this in the forums.

i cant get a picture because its so dark but its bugging the hell out of me

In my truck the two front seats look to be leaning in towards each other.

I don't think it has anything to do with rust/corrosion because the rest of the truck is solid..

is this a common issue?
is that just how they are?

if theres a million posts about this before me and you have a link, i wont waste space by responding to this thread anymore. Thanks guys..

Its deffinately not normal, check the seat brackets and were the seats mount for rust or cracks.

you got a pic?

Are all 8 bolts in? The only thing that comes to mind is if only 2 bolts were used in the middle, and the upper holes of the bracket were bolted to the lower holes of the vehicle. Not even sure if that's even possible to pull off, but its gotta be a bracket not lined up somewhere if everything else is in good shape.

My original seats were like that. Turns out the inner brackets were bent (PO was a big boy who liked equally big women).

The even funnier part is that the console was smashed as well, I don't want to know what they were doing in there.

I've been good man! Got the front locker in like 6 months ago and have had it out wheeling once, no fishing, camping or hunting so far....... too much work and not enough play time.

You?

Geez, once?? Did you get that auburn LSD or did you end up with something else?? We just threw a Spartan locker up front in BBP's rig last weekend.

Well, between work and residing the house my summer was a wash. But the wife is done with school and working, and the house is done, so just trying to pay off the credit card. Once we are back to square one it'll be play time again.

You still in NM? Word on the street was you might move to Texas?

Yeah....... you've made it to the street, brah. THAT'S how long it's been since we've heard from you. LOL.

My drivers seat always leaned towards the middle, turns out the padding was just all flattened on that side
