83 Truck is fine at higher RPM's but sputters and dies at idle

My 83 pickup has had a few problems of late and this is the last one that needs fixing. It sounds like a fuel issue to me, as its getting enough fuel to run at high RPM's but once it hits lower ones at idle, it will sputter and shut off. It's not an electrical issue, or at least I don't think so, because the music is still on when it dies. Help would be greatly appreciated!

the pressure meter says the pressure is fine, so it doesn't seem like an oil pressure issue to me. i was thinking it might be a fuel pump issue or maybe a carb issue

carb maybe. fuel pump no be cuase if it cant push fuel at low rpm why would it be able to do that at higher rpms when you need more fuel. check the oil level and see where its at.

i think i might have found the issue, and i feel like an idiot for not finding it earlier. one of the vacuum hoses was unattached. it seems to be running fine now but does that sound like the problem?
