Wake_roks 2004 4Runner Build-Up

This week my mother is gone to Ireland so we are overhauling her car... we have a 3" lift and hood with hood scoop to install..... tires afterwards.... right now it is all stock with saggy springs.... we have OME springs and Struts for the front along with a 3" spacer for the rear.... starting this thread to track the progress of the build! We have the 1st 4 generations of 4runners and my moms is the only one that isnt lifted.....

got new tires installed! the hood should be painted by now but we havent heard anything.....

i took the spare tire down to check air pressure and clean it off

the lift caused the cv boot to leak.... it didn't break.... but the clamp leaked so we put a new clamp on it

nice, i vote 285/70/17 good year duratracs. seeing you live up north where you get snow and ice those are an excellent severe weather tire yet very aggressive and good looking.
