have a 1985 4runner sr5, and sometimes the rear window will stop going up and down. neither the key nor dash switch will make it move, and it doesn't sound like a relay is clicking or the motor is trying to move, but then it will randomly start working again.....any ideas??

 

Might be a dirty contact in the switch or something like that:

Mine did what yours is doing so after checking everything and reading all the post I could find I went to Radio Shack bought a $3.00 switch and works like a champ.
