1989 SR5 4Runner SAS**Sold**

V6, 5-speed, working A/C, power windows, power locks, sun-roof

I bought this truck 3.5 years ago from Ryan Heintz. Very well done, professionally built truck. I've put maybe 100 miles on it total and three wheeling trips (Not MN legal, but would be a fine DD). I love this truck and do not need to sell it, but it is not being used. Very capable, very clean. Everything works very well. I had planned to do a 3.4 swap and have an engine but have somewhat lost interest.

I have all receipts from the build.

Front:
  • All Pro 4" SAS
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks
  • high steer
  • wheels spacers
  • 30-spline Longs
  • 5.29 ARB Hi-pinion
  • Trussed 84/85 housing
  • Powder coated shock hoops
  • Stainless brake lines

Rear:
  • Chevy 63" springs w/ overload
  • Bilstein 5100 shocks
  • Dual shackles
  • 5.29 ARB V6

Driveline
  • Stock 3.0. 2nd engine, ~85K miles (guesstimate)
  • R150 tranny
  • Inchworm tcase adapter
  • Inchworm-built reduction case
  • Inchworm dual adapter
  • Inchworm-built 5.0-geared rear case
  • Bud-built powder-coated crossmember
  • 35x13.5 Toyo's on 15x10 street locks w/ Monster valves

Body
  • Marlin front bumper - powder coated
  • Marlin sliders - powder coated
  • AA-Fab modified Marlin rear bumper - powder coated
  • AA-Fab rear tire carrier
  • AA-Fab custom hi-lift jack mounts
  • AA-Fab body sliders - powder coated and attached to stock rollbar
  • Can-back soft top with roof racks (NO HARD TOP)

Interior
  • VERY clean
  • Custom 2nd generation kick panel speaker enclosers
  • Relocated ECU
  • Custom upholstered triple shifter boot
  • Powertank P10 mounted to rollbar w/ ARB solenoid kit
  • High-end Stereo, speakers, amps w/ iPod controller and Sirius Sat
  • 1st aid kit mounted in rear panel
  • Billet shift knobs

Recovery and other

MN bumper height law is 24-25"... I'm at 29 and 31. The Po-po doesn't like that. Ask me how I know.

And the tires stick out about 2" past the fenders. Technically not illegal in MN according to the letter of the law, but 99.9% of interpretations will still get a ticket.

The bumper height is the only real issue - never really been hassled about the tires.

Not my idea, to be honest. The PO had AA-Fab build them. Powertank Steve was the inspiration - his is the original and only other 4runner I've seen with them.
