Newbie needs help with 3vze!

i have a 1989 4runner 5speed with the 3VZE V6 and i gotta do a head gasket replacment but not tooo sure how,, does anyone know where i can find step by step info??? i wana do this myself so i know next time in the future, thats how you learn right ha.... any advice or info thanks..

Well, you could run a forum search as there are threads on how to do it. You'd be real, real wise to read on YT the trials and errors everyone's gone through doing a HG job on this motor. Take note of the tips and strong recommendations. Sometimes a manual is not enough. As far as manuals go, though, the FSM is online....

Print it out and keep it handy, of course, while you're working. But, it's a good thing to look it all over and get a picture in your noggin' of what you'll be getting into before you get in.

If don't find what you need in a search, post back up and I'll dig up some threads for you.
