need help with new headlights, i cant see

hey there i recently put in some black crystal headlights in my truck. They are part number HD-7X6-BK-15 from turbometal.com. the lights are all black with blue bulbs. my problem is they are not bright at all. so what would be a good bulb to put in that would be prett bright??? right now my last resort will be a hid conversion kit. Thanks for any help

your problem will be lack of reflection from the headlights themselves. Get new housings and get some slyverstars or hyper white bulbs.. Nothing blue!

as i said.. bulbs will only get you so far. Those black headlights are all looks and no performance. At this point sealed beams will be a huge improvement.

Eye's sensitivity to color:

That is why blue bulbs do not appear as bright, they may put out lots of light, but if your eye can't pick it up, it doesn't do a lot of good.
