its on my 89 3.0 auto, and i think my tranny needs some fluid.

On my 3.0/auto it is the orange handled dipstick right beside the yellow oil dipstick.

Maybe.. kinda wonderin what made him think the tranny was low on fluid..

 

An update,

Found out why I needed to add ATF. What I thought was the transfer case drain, turned out to be the tranny secondary drain plug. The drain plug gasket was missing and the pan bolts were loose. snugged'em up and added a gasket and no more leaks.

I thought my tranny was going south, but now its full of Amsoil ATF and it shifts solid and doesn't slip. So, I'm stoked.

will a 3.0 5SP mount up to a 3.4?
