Question for Corey???(and anyone else)

Hey Corey I know you are real tedious about your Runner and things thatyou do with it. I'm getting ready to order my AMSoil Air Filter. I know the part number for the filter but was wonering if you could give me the part number for the cleaning kit and/or oil that I will need to keep the filter lubed up over time. Thanks man.

Thanks Stump, but I'm not running an Amsoil air filter yet until they create one for us older V6s.

There's quite a few on the forum here though that should have the info for you.

If you're looking for the foam filter oil, the part # is AFO-BC for the single 8 oz bottle.

Here's a link to the description

Okay now I fee like a dumb ass for thinking you had an AMSoil, who was it that was talking about the filter they had and the oild they used. It's okay though I'll just ask the person on the AMSoil oreder line what I need to get this thing rolling.

Where are you going to order your filter from? I need to order one for a 3rd generation (2002) runner and want to know where I can find the best prices.

Also, I am really not ready to do the deckplate mod yet, do you all think I will still be in good shape with just upgrading the filter prior to doing the deckplate mod?

I want to get a good deal and be sure that I get the right part, like you.

Yup you got the part number right for the filter, but I want to know the oil for the filter(it's part number). I'm ordering mine from Gadgets link as well. As soon as I get that thing in here I'm doing the deck plate mod, then installing my lift. After that comes the exhaust, which is starting to look like it'll be a Dynomax(a lil' more low key than the beastly magnaflo's and flomasters). So I'm following right along to the beat of HP mods., only thing is I'll stop at the exhaust, I don't have a need for any more than that.

Thanks guys. Now how exactly do I go about washing the AMSoil filter. Do I just take a hose to it, soak it or is there something more?
