AAL before and after photos.
I am lookink for some before/after photos of rear 2" AAL. Mainly the spring packs themselves. but some normal photos would be good as well. I am looking to see what the arch/overload leaf looks like afterword. right now as some of you might already know my springs are pretty much sitting on the overloads. They aren't completely flat yet but I am sure it will be soon the more I wheel this year with it.
Also wondering how well yours is holding up from flattening back out and how it has ridden after the AAL and which ones you went with.
Thanks all.

These are the only pics i have on hand... I'm not 100% sure of the brand, found them on craigslist actually. My pack was sitting on the overloads before aswell. It definitely affected the ride, but it was worth it IMHO.
Ill try and snag some pics of the actual pack when i get outta class.

If you go with an add-a-leaf. Get a long style leaf thats thinner.
I got a short and thick leaf (was only $20) and I hate them. They ride marginally better then when the pack was resting on the overloads. And over time, they have ruined the springs. They have sort of a M shape now..

I think you can get a new set of springs from JC Whitney for $100. That said, I used to have an old 87 4Runner and I put a set of pro comp add a leafs in it and it raised the rear end considerably, then it flattened out and it rode a little higher than stock. I didn't notice any difference in the ride on that truck.

I agree with Jay 100%. Mine were the thinker kind aswell, and the moment I flex them, even the smallest amount, they start to get that M shape. Also, it might partially be attributed to placebo effect.. but i thought the ride mighta even been a bit rougher... idk.
I still say its worth it if you wanna get your ass up enough to clear some tires, but idk if its the best long term option.
Thanks man! I welded and kinda ground the joints smooth... it was when i was first learning to weld... so lets just say im not gunna b posting close up pics
But its functional!
