Hey guys its been awhile since i've been around, but I was wondering how many bobbed and dovetailed 4runners exist out there, I just did mine about a month ago, and what pics i took of the process i'll upload when i find my phone memory card adapter, but ya i was curious b/c it was a pita to do what i did.

My old 4Runner was bobbed 14" and dovetailed 12", it's a lot of work but worth the effort
. I cut that rig up a couple years ago and built a new one, but I still miss it sometimes!

I havent done my springs yet and was racking my brain on how to incorporate the shackle hanger into a rear bumper... do u by chance think u could see if u have some miore pics, or maybe some specs...?

These are the best pictures I could find of the rear bumper / shackle mounts, I had 63" Chevys on the 4Runner so they were pretty long.

The new 4Runner is a 86' Turbo 4Runner, I love it!

Thanks dirtco that will help alot because my main thing was gusseting and I love how ur gussets extend out past te bumper instead of building the gussets on the front side and making the bumper sit flush with the rear of the mount if that makes sense... And ur welcome dirtco... And I didn't really realize ur rig was my inspiration until posted andthen I remembered that all my ideas as far as body went came from the od green raise Ed 4runner on yotatech lol which is urs but thanks for posting those pics
