I want a topper for my truck, but am finding a hard time finding one with the right demensions. 59-60w x 89 long. is there anything out there for the long beds? modding one could be an option but not the first option. ideas?

 

I've had no luck. My shortbed is shorter than any other Toyota shortbed. Early to mid 70's shortbeds are longer, later 80's and all later model shortbeds are longer. The 79-83 just had weird beds. Don't know about the longbeds.

I ended up buying an aluminum topper off a 75 toyota and cutting it down to fit. Worked pretty well...but I've noticed it's coming apart a bit where I put it back together...need to figure out how to make it stronger.

keep a look at your local craigslist. that's about the only time you'll see them. i'm on the search too.

Bob the bed to fit what top you like most. its pretty simple to do if you can weld or know someone who can. not the easiest approach by far but you can have whatever top you want.

how much does it cost to ship? I mean, would it even be cheaper to drive out there than send it? I'd be comin from AZ
