Need some wiring help.
The antenna on Little Red was broken so I went to the pick n pull and found one from a Mitsubishi Galant that had a similar mount. With a little fabbing I was able to get it mounted so now I need to know what to do with the 5 wires from the harness.

There are a black with 1 silver dot and a black, blue, red and white all with 2 silver dots.
I posted this in the audio forum but its dead over there.
This is part of my stereo install. I have 2 6x9 pioneer 2 ways going in the back and I'm keeping the stock 4's up front. I haven't decided on which deck to buy.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

 

might need to ask that one on a Misubishi forum

or find a FSM for the Galant so you can figured out what the wires are

 

Thanks. I have been trying all angles. I put a post on 12volt.com and they replied "I can't be bothered to pull my Galant apart BUT 2 thoughts, Google Mits Galant wiring for the answer, it IS there and that's a flat top, you might need a top conversion for your vehicle."
Now i need to find out what a flat top conversion is. And I'm still looking for a galant diagram.

 

Making some progress. Managed to find a '97 galant power antenna wiring diagram. (My antenna is from a '94, same gen)

Now I just need to hook up 3 fused power wires, a ground and the antenna and trigger wire.
Question. If I wanted to test this before hooking it up to a deck, does anyone know what kind of signal is the antenna trigger?

 

What was wrong with your Toyota power antenna?

Mine would not go up and down, it ended up being the switch in the dash, not the motor in the power antenna. I pulled the motor unit out, disassembled the whole thing to rebuild it and found when I put power to it from a 12V battery, it worked fine. So, I pulled the switch and found that the contacts in the switch were all carboned up, so, I sanded them back to copper and it worked like a charm.

Mine had the original telescoping manual. The plastic tube was broken so it wiggled and no longer retracted since a fixed unit was screwed in at the top.

 

Ahh, well an electric will be an upgrade.

My problem is that I forgot twice to lower the damn thing before going off on the trail and broke the mast. Those masts are not cheap at the dealer. The swtich is right there on the dash, maybe I need to put together a checklist for the rig before I take to the trail.

 

There are 3 power wires I need to supply the antenna. Here's the plan.

And I found this fuse block. It is narrow enough to fit between my battery and the fender.

I temporarily hooked up the wires directly and the antenna does work.
I'm wondering if i should use any diodes?
