Bilstein 5125's for stock '99 coils...HELP!

I want to use the height adjustable 5125's with my stock '99 coils. There are over a dozen configurations available for the 5125s considering length, travel and valving. I'm sure there is a good configuration....I just don't know which one it is.

I'm very willing to call Bilstein and work this out with them, but I figured I'd ask here first. Does anybody know what the specs should be when using stock '99 coils? Thanks in advance!

ps. Does anyone know the factory shock specs?

Well, that's to the point. lol. Because I like my '99 highlander coils. I don't want more than 2" of lift from where I'm at now. I need new shocks. I think I can get exactly the ride height I want with the 5-way adjustable 5125's. Plus I know it's a good product and if I buy the correct ones, it should ride great on-road and perform nicely off-road. I don't do any serious wheeling, just normal midwest fields and 4 wheeler trails. We don't have cool big rocks or canyons or boulder fields or anything. I wish.

EDIT: I kinda spaced out when I asked the initial question. I want to retain my stock FRONT coils. The rear shocks have no height adjustment (obviously) so I will need to buy some lift coils for the rear. Probably 890's.

EDIT #2: In case there is any confusion: I want the exact same 5-way adjustable front shocks that Steve sells with his lift kits from sonoronsteel, but I want them the proper size and valving for '99 stock coils. I DO NOT want the silver 5100 series 3-way adjustable shocks that toytec sells.

somebody correct me if im wrong but I don't think 5125's are for the front.. Unless I misunderstood what your asking. You want new adjustable shocks up front with your stock tall 99 coils and new shocks along with new 890 coils in the rear? I'm with the wabbit on this one... sorry i couldnt be more helpful with the shock specs.

Lift shocks or standards shocks? Or something in between?

Tall '99 coils. Daystar 1.5" rear and 1" front spacers.

What shocks should I use? I've gotten conflicting views on whether to use "lift" shocks or standard shocks....pertaining to how they'll ride based on their length and what part of their travel they'll be using during normal driving.

Please help. I'm starting to get frustrated, because every time I ask this, it gets moved, deleted, and nobody gives me a straight answer.

you need to get shocks that work with a 2inch lift.this gives you .5 inch of reserve in the rear. shocks that are to short wont fit the lift and shocks that are to tall wont function properly and may not fit right. I have a one inch suspension lift and it came with the bilsteins and they were designed for a stock height up to 2 inch lift. I had one inch so worked out perfect. get the bilsteins you wont regret it!

You can get by on your stock shocks with the lift you have, but extended shocks would be even better and allow for more travel. I like my OME comfort shocks a lot.

Which Bilsteins? Lol, it's funny because i asked about Bilsteins initially and never got a good answer. The 5100 series? Non adjustable? Or the yellow 4600 series?

I need new shocks...can't run my rusty 10 year old ones anymore. I was under the assumption that the OME shocks would probably be fine in the rear...but would be way too long for the front. And I'd like all 4 shocks to be the same brand.

I don't know if they would be too long or not. I would just figure some of that shock's travel wouldn't be utilized w/o a lift, but not sure.

I have given you several straight answers via e-mail, but you must not have liked what I said.

Shocks go with springs. Stock shocks go with stock springs lift shocks go with lift springs.

They only work with the TRD springs as I wrote you via e-mail.
