Let's say i cold start my truck,go into town and it's warmed up by the time i get into town and it will idle at 800 ''which is normal''
i can shut it off for like a minute or just shut off then start it back either way, when i start it back it will idle about 300.
But then after i drive it for a around 15 minutes it will idle fine i really dont know could be,but it seems to idle low after i start it back up.
I could post a video if that would help.

 

Idling at 1800 after warmed up definitely isn't normal. It should idle around 850 rpms when warm. Maybe it's a clogged fuel filter or the throttle body needs cleaning.

 

sorry for the typo 800 is what i have it set on,the fuel filter is less than a year old, i'll try cleaning the throttle body,but i could never figure it out,thanks for the info
