G 52 rebuild kit Which one

I have been searching for a couple of months for a good rebuild kit for the g52 trans, but so far all i have come up with is marlin to be the best bet, or take my chances with Ebay, not likely going that route though. I replaced the input shaft 2 years ago and now its making noise at the front bearing. Know of another kit for this tranny for a good price???

I used one sourced from a local import parts house. The only key was making sure the bearings were Koyo or NSK, which they were.

It's a commodity, shop for price if the bearings etc. are OEM.

Huh.
For between 3-600 or more... I bet he was not selling a ton, already.
Lots of guys get intimidated by gearboxes, but frankly, I like knowing what's going on in that thing. I've done exactly one... but it still runs great. If I can do it- anyone can.

Looks good. Looks like you had to go up a bit on the prices, but now they are only quite reasonable instead of "how can he DO that??".

I cross posted it to our club website. Good hunting!

man I didn't know that rebuild prices went up so much since I did mine. I think I paid $230 for the marlin rebuild kit but that was 6 years ago. Jeez I'm getting old and everything is getting expensive.

Well... Mike's prices will take you back in time, then.
Thanks again, Mike, on behalf of the Toy community. Not often folks will post up shipped prices. That is usually a (sometimes nasty) surprise at checkout time.
