Looking to get a rebuilt 22RE, anyone in CA thats heard anything about 22reperformance.com ? It looks like they have a legit set up, just wondering if anyone has any feedback about them. The machine shop is Putney's Custom Automotive. Thanks!

 

I called them up because I want to drop a new engine in my truck. I asked them a few questions and they seemed to know what they were doing. In fact I was reassured to the point that in a few months I will be getting a new long block from them.

Sorry I don't have first hand knowledge, but ask again in a few months and I will let you know.

Yea I did. I just got the stage II from them and just received the engine this past week. I plan on putting it in in a couple of weeks. It looks sweet!! It is complete from the valve cover to the oil pan. I just have to pull the old one and slap this one in. I can't wait.

 

Can't wait to hear your opinions and thoughts on this engine Snobdds. I have been looking at the Stage 2 or 2.5. I like what I see and read. Keep us informed!!!!

before I rebuilt my 22re, I was heavily considering just buying a complete engine, and it was either going to be from Oregon Engine Rebuilders (I think that's their name) or 22re Performance
