SAS taco help...

Well the swap is in the parts collecting. I am going to use a toy front under my 99 tacoma. I have one major question! Since I am going from 2wd to 4wd also, I figured I may have a choice in t-cases. I will use an Inchworm adapter, so can I use a 2nd gen 4runner t-case that is pass. drop behind it? Also, will the shifter parts from a 3rd gen 4runner work with that combo?

Yes guys I am still searching! I just need some guidance. Thanks!

Go with a gear driven Tcase. Anything behind a 22re 5spd will be gear driven up to 89. So, and 85-89 top shift case would be ideal. That way you can go duals or drop in 4.7s.

This would be a good thread to look at. Just weed through all of the chit chat.

Thanks man! It's been a while since we talked about the good ol 4wd conversion. Finally took your advice and go solid axle...honestly I don't want to run duals. Here in Louisiana there's not much to creep on. But I'll take a look into tho! thanks again!

Ok have my t-case issue worked out...found a 4runner tranny and t-case along with other parts.

Next...I want to run 35's. Figured I'd do the Chevy springs in the rear. Thought about the All-pro 3" kit. For the front would toyota pickup rears work along with either the chevy's or all-pro?
