Elocker added, now no rear sway bar......

Well, I ended up putting in a Toyota Tacoma Elocker rear third in my 92 4runner.

All of that install went pretty well, but now it is clear that my stock rear sway bar does not fit due to the large lump on the side of the diff where the actuator sits.

Has anyone else run into this problem? I must keep that rear sway bar......especially after I add OME 900's.....

Any ideas?

If you want the e-locker, you don't need the swaybar.

Heck, I took off my front and rear ones

That won't work, heating it will ruin the temper of the spring and it will bend. I think you're best bet would be to reconfigure a swaybar from a 1996+ 4Runner with an e-locker to work on your axle. You might have to weld on some new mounts, but it shouldn't take much work at all.

As for needing the rear swaybar, the rear coils on the 4Runner flex really well and removing the rear SB makes for a really tippy truck. I flopped my truck when i had the rear SB off.
