ok so I'm going to go back to a stock paper air filter on my 86 4runner from a k&n fipk due to issues with my oil getting dirty extremely fast and dirt/oil in my intake tube (not good on a new motor). However, I kinda hacked my old 22re air box by drilling holes around the bottom and I don't really like the air flow design of the unit anyways.
I prefer the design on the v6 air filter housing which seems like it would be better at keeping water out and technically should flow more since it was designed for a v6 instead of 4cyl. So has anyone swapped to this airbox?
