more 3rd gen 4runner tundra brake Qs

I called checker to check to see if they had everything I needed to do the tundra brake swap and they said I has some choices.

There are three different types of calipers, the casting numbers are:
S13WE
S13WL
S13WG

And two options for the pads
PS534
PS558 H

Which ones do I need?

Thanks for the help.

I would read the large threads on this topic from front to back. No other way, the spoon won't work. There is too much info in there not to read them...and if you have, this question is moot.

PS - IMO - do not purchase loaded calipers, unless you are going to pull thoe pads out and put better ones in. Put some Yota pads or Akebonos or others from those threads so you have some High Quality pads and no POS.

S13WE is what you need. Those are the 199mm "smaller" tundra calipers that are generally used. 13wl are the 231mm "larger" calipers.

I don't know. The loaded pairs that we sell at work come with very high qaulity pads. I thought the same thing until I talked to the commercial manager and he showed me a pair.

i guess that just means - check the quality of the pads in the loaded calipers prior to purchase. Not sure how you do that before ordering them but do it if the have them in stock to look at...

So the Tundra calipers just bolt right up to a 4runner?
