So I read the Toyota letter about the 01-04 frame rusting and took my 01 in to get checked. It failed the check and the dealer told me they'd replace the frame at no cost. I just wanted to know how many of you have had this done, and what did you think. I know the quality depends on the dealer, but I feel like swapping a frame is a pretty big, intense job. What things should I look for when they are done? Any obvious signs to look at? The dealer told me it's gonna be about 2 weeks, is this a reasonable wait time?

 

I think i remember seeing a thread about this not too long ago. iirc he took it to a different shop because his insurance took care of it and it took about a week, but he was pretty impressed with it. try searchin for it

Yeah he was happy with the results. I tried searching alot too and couldnt find it. oh well
