Whatever electric pump you use you need to know its maximum amps. You need a relay and auto resetting circuit breaker sized larger then the max rating of the electric pump. I run a Mallory Model 110 using a relay and 15amp auto reset circuit breaker. The relay is energized when I turn on my ignition switch and the pump power comes directly from the battery through the circuit breaker. You could use a fuse if you prefer.

I moved the fuel tank canister from the firewall and installed it in the same place as the carb canister on the right fenderwell. I installed one hose with the jet from the canister to my intake manifold.
