so ive been scraping off the old head gasket, anything i should watch out for? i have been gently scraping it off and vacuuming the debris, but some... not a whole lot but SOME debris fall into the coolant passages, is this a big no no? or is SOME ok?

furthermore, im taking the head in to get looked at, what should i ask the machinist? i was planning on tellin him to resurface for sure, check for warpage(cuz im an idiot and didnt take off head bolts in order) & retap or helicoil the spark plug holes, got 80k on the head so i doubt it needs a valve job...should i get it anyways? would everything i want be more worthwhile to get the whole valve job?

okay ill take a break with the questions for now...later im gonna need help lining up the chain correctly, it doesnt seem as easy as tdc cyl #1 cuz it easily moves over a tooth or so with a slight turn of the crank, so id hate to tear it all back apart...
