what's this wire? No place for it.

So while staring at my engine bay looking for loose wires or any sort of cause for my codes 12, 41, and 71, I found this wire unplugged. (the one center frame)






I looked and looked and can't find a spare connection for it. It has to be on the intake side (duh!!!) because it can't reach very far.

I do not own a 22RE,

But,

That sort of looks like a knock sensor wire to me. It looks like the same type of connector that is on my 3VZE knock sensor.

Just a random idea, not sure of that at all.

isnt the knock sensor on the 22re right above the motor mount (as seen at the top of the first picture) ? It already has a wire or connector to it.

back that top picture up a bit. i can't tell what i am looking at......maybe a overhead with an arrow.

It's the passenger side of the block just below the intake manifold. I'll circle the wire

Correct. I don't have A/C. So leaving this cable hanging isnt hurting anything? Ever since I've owned the truck, I havent had it plugged in (and never had any codes until recently). I was hoping plugging this in would magically make the engine codes go away.
