Hi guys,

As I posted on an earlier thread, my RS3000 alarm is not working and I want to try to diagnose it myself. Dealer wanted $75 per hour. I

need the installation manual---anyone have it? I'm not talking about the operations manual but the install manual. I beleive someone said there is a fuse so I want to try to locate it in that wired maze underneath the steering column. Might be something else too, who knows until I see the manual.

I have a bag full of my RS300 stuff, when my wife gets home I will check my glove box for the install manual.
(she has my 4Runner, i figured that since my parents were out of town I would take my dad's 1996 5-speed 4Runner for the week )

 

You know what, I could also use a copy of that. I am going to see if I can utilize my keyless entry somehow to make a descent alarm.

I didn't have a chance to check my glove box last night. I got home from school too late. I am leaving work today at 3:30 MST so I will drop by her office and get it today.

I will scan it in and email it to you and Mohamed by tomorrow, i promise..

My alarm is not working.
I have a 2004 4 runner. The alarm light under the dash is on all the time and the indicator light will flash when the doors are locked. Openning the doors/closing the horn will not sound with the remote key lock. Dropping the wiper blase down on the window the horn will not sound now. How do I find the problem and fix the problem? All fuses check good.
What is the fuse that say SECU/horn 10 A: Theft deterrent system for? I pulled the fuse and everthing worked. Started the car and the horn work.
