I was taking a look at my 86 pickup today, and noticed a black tube hanging, I am not exactly sure what the name or function is of the canister it is connected to. Is this just a vet tube, or should it be on something?

yeah its a breather for the charcoal canister i think, i dunno but i got one too

 

Thats the breather hose for the charcoal canister, and the end of that hose should be inside the frame were that round hole is in your picture.

 

i see your '86 is SAS'd...got any more pics of it???
