question about tire size on 98 runner.

I have not been on here in awhile due to lack of funds for my project I had to start all over, I am going to get some sliders and some tires before deer season my truck is on stock suspension right now I plan on doing a 3 inch suspension lift from toytec "I already had a lift and LC coils but had to sell". Well Im wondering If I can run 33's on stock suspension for now before I get my suspension because I need the tires bad before deer season and don't have the money to buy twice. I plan on going with a 33MT, Will I be able to wheel good still for the time being?

you should be ok with 33's on stock suspension. but you might have minimal rubbing. nothing some trimming couldnt fix.

Cool, I don't mind trimming at all so If it needs to be done then ill do it. I just don't have money for it all at once and I need the tires more.

there is no way for 33's/285s to clear stock unless you do some major cutting

As in tires? I don't have the money to get two sets of tires and deer season is coming up next month. Think a 2' body lift and some trimming would allow for the clearance until I can come up with the money for the lift? I thought I remember seeing someone on here running stock suspension with 285's just some trimming.

dont waste money on a temp job do it right the first time and yes you probably can find decent tires to get you by which you could sell later

I planned on getting a 1" BL anyways I guess my question is now with just a BL for now can I get it work? I don't want to get tires and sell them this is my main offroad vehicle and I need good off road tires for deer season as well.

The body lift won't be a temp job as ill probably keep it on I'm going to go 3 all around on OME's I'm just wondering if with a body lift and some minor trimming if I can run 33's.

Possibly, usually need a little suspension lift plus the 1" body lift:
