Some overdue snaps...

Hey here are a few overdue shots of my rig from the Luner Cup ski race this past July...

I have some more shots coming soon...
many thanks to everyone for their ideas and insight on all the mods...as you can see I have used other rigs as a model for mine.

Darren...keep an eye out for me, now that you know what I look like. See you all in Telluride.

Dave

Holy crap, they make that traverse across while they're racing? You'd think they'd run into each other. I guess the person on the skier's right course would be ahead of the other person at that time. I used to be a gate basher back in the day, I still follow the sport pretty closely even though I'm a knuckle dragger now. I still 2-plank every now and again. Is that a fun party to race in the summer like that? Does anyone "famous" show up?

Very nice, Dave!

Now I know to be looking for stealth black when I head down there again! You've spotted me twice, and I have yet to see yours. I'm sure you have the only TJM down there, so that's all I need to look for, as I have been.

Where's your place located in relation to the courthouse? I might know the street names as well if you gave those.

Looking forward to seeing round 2 of the pictures!

This event is a pretty much a local's only affair.
Although you never know in Telluride.

It used to be teams of 3, at least one girl, and each team member had to do something different (1 snowboarder, 1 alpine skier, 1 telemarker)

The course changes each year depending on the conditions, and sometimes doesn't happen at all. this past year's track made for some great falls, wipeouts, and collisions.

But here it's okay if you fall, you just got to make it look good.
Fastest time takes it with "styly" points included, try a backspin around gate four, or chug that beer while your racing, it is more about hanging out, making turns, and getting loaded...

As pretty much everything is about that in telluride.

So an open invitation to all to come wheelin, skiing, or boozing, just drop me a note and I'll show the best spots.

Dave

looks like my kind of fun! I love the ski bum scene, there isn't really one in the town I live in now. But I grew up and went to college in a great ski/college town - Bozeman, MT. I lived in Colorado for acouple winters, but never made it to Telluride. I'd love to sometime. maybe I'll see you on the hill.
