Need pictures of Vaccum lines and such.

Ok so I cant seem to figure out what lines go where. Is there any soft lines that hold fuel? Or are all the fuel lines hard lines and or have those special fittings at the end? Cause I seem to have a rather bad gas leak and everything seems to be good. It appears to be comming out by the fuel filter ( or some place like that cause its dripping right on the starter. But I never took the fuel filter off at any point. So it wouldnt be gushing out for no reason right?

Anyways back to the orginal question. There is like a nipple comming straight up off of the EGR by the intake mani. The nipple is right on the neck it seems. But that general area and under the intake mani if you can.

Sorry for all the requests its just I wanna get this done. Ever since I bought this truck its been a lemon. Never really driven it. Had it for a year. I NEED TO DRIVE THIS! haha

BTW its a 1988 pickup 22re

Some softlines leading to the fuel filter are soft but they all should have the fitting on them. Did you check for those little washers that should be on the filter lines connecting to it?

If they are not in it could cause a leak. Check it out.

Also their is a fuel line on the top of the pendulum. Could be leaking from there

Hope this helps

haha atleast I got something right! So I can still test the 2 terminals to see where it is leaking from without the top of the intake mani on right? Jump terminals B+ and Fp and see if theres any leaks? ( dont quote me on those terminals. I can easily find it out though.) and Bleeder your remember the thing I PM'd you about and you said first it was the idle control thingy thats on the bottom of your throttle body? Well thats what it is not the PAIR system. From 89 on they joined it onto the TB. But since mine is an 88 I still dont know where that back hose goes.

Yep, that is the fuel pressure regulator and that top nipple needs a hose connected to the intake manifold for vacuum:

Yess 4crawler thank you. The hose I need is the one on the neck of the EGR valve. But since you eliminated the EGR ha oh well.

Oh you do? Can you tell me what goes on the EGR valve neck? Comes right off the head then before the gold top theres a nipple. what goes there?

Through my research I found this

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/v...-pickup-70536/

And this is correct right? Can some one confirm this?

Top of EGR connects to a hard line that runs up to the BVSV under the throttle body in front of the intake. That is what opens/closes the EGR. Check out the EC (Emissions Control) section of the FSM for details.

Yes I know where the top of the EGR connects just not where the nipple on the Neck of the EGR valve. Where is the EGR-VM?? Cause in that diagram, post #15, it says it connects to the EGR VM

Bottom side of EGR connects to the bottom of the EGR modulator.
