Not the 3-way vacuum port on the intake, it is the thing about the size of a gas cap on top of the valve cover, buried under the other hoses. And yes it matters what hooks to what, and the ports should le labeled and those letters denote letters on the throttle body vacuum lines.

I think the 3 top connections do go to the metal rail, the bottom one goes to the bottom of the EGR.

So Ive located the gas leak to the front line that connects to the fuel filter. There appears to be a little washer like thing on the fuel filter itself (a raised portion if you will) then the fuel line fitting, a little copper washer, then the bolt. It appears to be leaking from where the fuel filter meets the fitting. Like spraying out like a squirt gun. Now I can tighten it more but I dont think thats the real cause. Anyone know what the cause is? Can I use another copper washer to fix it?

Alright fixed the gas leak. Moved the copper washer from one side, to the other haha. Worked great. I think I put it on the wrong side to begin with haha. Ok onward with other issues!! Where does this plug go? I cant seem to find where it goes

And another part I cannot figure out where it goes. As Abe says: "That is the idle air valve. On later model vehicles, from approximately 89 on, it's part of the throttle body." On the 86-88's ( I believe ) It is located under the Throttle body/ intake manifold
So I need to figure out where #4 goes. #1 goes to the TB. #2 & 3 are for coolant. and #4 goes over by the fuel filter to nothing. HELP!! Thanks!!

this "thing"? lol

that would be the AC idle-up solenoid, but you'll only have a need to connect it if you're running AC. If no AC, then just twist-tie it up outta the way

Ha ha ha ha

I was expecting that.

A mouse ate through one of the wires on mine and I had a code until I repaired it.

Through searching ive found this and it says that #4 goes to Air Intake Chamber. But I really dont think it does go to the intake. Maybe to the intake manifold some where?

Haha I would be easy for someone with an 87 or 88 22re to just go take a look for me haha
