I've unbolted the 6 bolts holding the rotor to the hub... and its not budging. Any ideas? I need to drive the truck to work... any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

No, the rotor is bolted to the back of the hub with 6 14mm bolts.

Hey Matt16 - I had to replace my rotors last year and I had a hard time getting them off until I realized they are locked on with those 6bolts AND the hubs. Here is a thread that solved my problems (steps 1-9) with pictures. To get them off, you just gotta take the hub dust plate and the caliper assembly. Should pop off right after that with little or no convincing (i.e. BFH).

Hope this helps!

Once the 6 bolts are out of the rear stand it on its edge or put the rotor in a vice (Making sure to avoid marking the rotor) and pound a cold chisel in the gap between the two. Do this in a few spots around the outside - and watch your toes.

PB Blaster & torch helps. You have to beat the living crap out of it!

I used a chisel, a hammer and a crowbar and now they're off and its 4am. I don't think anyone has ever done any maintenance on this truck prior to me. Both calipers had two pots which were completely seized.

4 of 8 of my caliper pistons were totality seized, I had to replace both calipers. Bleeding the brakes is the toughest part of the job. A chisel, crowbar, hammer and bench vice takes care of the rotor/ hub assy.

Off to bleed my brakes- I hate that job.
