All of those employees should have been fired, including the service manager.

Sad, but true, you can't trust anyone these days.

I always wonder what people do when i have my car being serviced by someone else. I work at Schwab and some people just watch your every move on what you do to their car. It is stupid to mess with others stuff, they trust you will just do the job and nothing else which is the way its supposed to be.

That's why I leave nothing other then change in my truck when it goes in for service, I also lock everything I can and take the keys (all but the ignition) and if it has to be left over night I will take the faceplate off the radio

I work as a tech at a hyundai dealership, and I assure you that we dont do that there!!! Now if your car is messy, or has wierd modifications (like our favorite, the tiburon with lambo doors AKA the tiburgini), we all will talk smack on it, but nothing gets stolen...I have had to dig through some stuff to find a problem, but if the people didnt want me to do it, then they should have cleaned out there car!!!

Reminds me of a place I used to take my car back in highschool. They stole stuff but would never own up to it.

Just one more reason why I decided to learn how to fix stuff myself.

I had an alignment/brake shop ruffle through my things, take my iPod out of its case, get grease all over it (still stained on the click wheel). I called and yelled at the manager when I saw it. He tried to pass it off as "They were looking for the wheel lock key." In my iPod case?! It only holds an iPod! And i had told them that the key was in the ash tray not the console. Then he tells me I shouldn't have left it in there. Granted this is true, but it still doesn't excuse them. They gave me a free oil change coupon and that was the only thing I ever went back there for.

Dirt bags. Espesiclly the service manager licking unknown pill dust. What a fiend. They must not piss test at this dealership because I bet this guy's drug of choice is anything that he can get his filthy hands on.

I remember my dad once installing a small lock on one of the storage cubbies on his camper and I remarked that it looked pretty easy to defeat. He replied that it was to keep an honest man honest.

I took a couple lessons out of that. One, even honest men can give into temptation (not that any of those guys were honest, that's pretty evident) and two, take no chances trusting even "honest" people.
