I have bought the wife a 1999 Limited and it came with one
keyless entry remote. I have another keyless remote that
came with a 2000 Avalon. On the back they both say RSS 210.

1. Will the Avalon remote work with the 4Runner?

2. Where can I find the instructions?

I have searched the forum and on google and found nothing on the 4Runner.

I think this is a RS3200 system.

But I ain't sure.

Look for the purple button "search" at the top of the forum here and type in key words and you should find what you are looking for dude.

Just be patient, somebody who has your system will chime in and help you out because this is not a new question, I'm sure.

Which one is it, do you know for sure yet? how many buttons on your remote front and back? Any other positive info will help them solve your problem. I've got the 3 button front, 1 button back remote and it is easy to fix. I'm sure yours is too.

I'm sure someone will find you the answers you need. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hey I found some instructions and it works.

Now I have a remote to the wife's 4Runner.

I rephrased my search words and got what I
needed.

You did help, Brian, you got me to thinking.

 

HI, Having the same issue how did you get yours to work? mine for some reason will not take, the locks cycle twice, so the code didnt take. on mine the original remote, the third button has the rolled down window but the new remote has the trunk release, does that matter but the FCC codes are the same. tried to program about 8 times and gave up, thanks.

lmao 7 years old...wow i didnt even have my lisense back then....hell that was when my dad bought the 3rd gen 4runner i own now..and back then i HATED it..whenever we'd go somewhere i would hate getting into that car b/c it was so small and ugly...now i own it and i love it to death!
