Tacoma buy back question

Toyota will be buying my truck back due to the frame rust issue in the near future. I am wondering what all people have taken off of the vehicle before they brought it back to the dealership? Are there certain parts that need to be left installed like bumpers or anything. I am told that all they want to do is be able to drive it up on the trailer. I just want to confirm that this is true before I start parting out my truck. The last thing that I want to happen is I pull my truck into the dealership and they say "NO DEAL!" Thanks for any and all info!

I have a buddy (who works as a detailer for Toyota) Who got his truck bought back. he was able to get his supercharger custom bumpers. alloy wheels and tires (he put old tires and wheels on it to drive it in. Not sure if anyone could get away with all that but he did. I would ask the dealer.

Did he replace his custom bumpers with the stock ones?

Nice, well as of right now I have both of mine sold to a guy as long as Toyota doesn't get pissy when I show up with no bumpers. Any thoughts anyone?

I dropped mine off minus the cat-back and manual hubs. Not a peep, the guy that gave me the check didn't even look at it.

I think it depends on the dealer here in NH I have seen people leave everything on there truck I mean tool boxes aftermarket wheels, push bars with off road lights on them ?? don't know why but I would just take off the "add on" parts or you could always say the truck was wrecked also ;-)

I am wondering how crazy people have gotten when it comes to parting out their trucks. In reality if all they want to be able to do is drive it on a trailer then you could get pretty crazy with it. I am talking box, doors, hood, locker etc...well you get the idea. Are there any good stories or pictures out there? Bring them on.
