Got my new 33" tires!!

http://community.webshots.com/user/toyotadan

Well.. my thread earlier about BFG vs. Thornbirds was useless, cause i ended up not getting either brand.. I got some Aurora Mud Terrains. They were $350 less than new BFG's.. they came to $730 (canadian) after tax and mounted/balanced

Check em out and tell me what ya think..

Cant wait to put em on

Thanks,
Dan

Sweet find for 350 bucks...the close ups of those rubbers show that they look pretty rugged. Did you keep those black wheels or put those tires on some new shoes?

ahhh!! It's a toony!!! Sorry... it's been awhile since I've crossed the border.... Definately let out some of that pressure before you put them on! Someone overfilled them big time.

I just got em back from the tire place like an hour ago... i gotta check the PSI on em before i put them on, but that wont be for another 2 weeks or so....

I got em for $750 not $350... but still a good deal, better than paying $1150 for BFG Muds..

As for the rims, I bought them off a guy with a Landcruiser for $40.. for all 4. Just painted them black to make them look better..

Um, Dan, those look pretty juicy. Would you know if/how there's a distributor in S. Ontario?

Hmm i dont know.... the lady told me the Company that makes them but I cant remember. It started with a "P".....

But I guess you could just go and ask at a local tire place. They may not know what you are talking about though, cause it seems that no one has seen this tire before.

You cant beat $730 for 4 33" Mud Terrains tho...

Just go and ask... ill try and give them a call so I can get the company that makes them

http://www.aurora-tire.com/

I guess its a German Tire.. it doesnt say anything about a company.. I guess its just Aurora. I swear the lady told me something else but whatever.... my tire is the "RT 02" Offroad tire...

www.aurora-reifen.de/home.html

Thats the German version of the site if you want to look at that haha...

Anyways, they are a good lookin tire. I put them on to see what they look like (On the front, it just fits without a lift) and it definitely looks good. I lined them up with my friends Wild Country MT's and they are a good 5/8" taller, and look to me more of a rounded tire... but maybe thats because they are filled up too much..

Either way it looks to be good.. check it out, and tell me if you find anything.

Thanks,
Dan
