Truck update and pics from the weekend, Kelly Flats, CO

So, for the truck, I broke my first birf 2 weeks ago in a mud hole on Crystal Mountain. No biggie because I heard it break and right away quickly switched into 2wd and unlocked my front hubs. I made it out in 2wd and got home with no issues. Once home, I began to tear into the front axle, and figured that since I was pulling one front axle shaft I might as well go all the way and switch my spool to the rear and put my detroit in the front. It was nice having the detroit in the rear for around town driving, but it was much nicer having the detroit in the front for 4wd turning. A friend of mine just put dirty 30s in his runner, so I got a birf from him to use until I can save up for my own 30 splines. Once repaired I couldn't resist another opportunity to wheel so I took my dog up to Kelly Flats and had a fun little day trip. Truck rean awesome, and nothing broke! Here are a few pics from the day. It was sunny and dry up at 7,500 ft, but when I got home to Fort Collins it had hailed and looked like January!

I think they're actually called Gumbo Monster Mudders, but people call em Ground hawgs all the time. They're temporary until I can get a grand for some 36x12.50 swampers. I only paid $400 for the 40s, so Im runnin em till they're gone.
