So im starting to get really sick of not being able to use my key in the tailgate to put the window down. It will put the window up, but wen I turn the key the other way...nothing.

Is this a common problem by chance? and if so, any common remedies? I'd like tear apart the inside of the tailgate and try to find the problem, just thought I'd see if anyone knew of anything I should be looking for.

Mine does the same thing haha.

Im just too lazy to fix it or see whats wrong and it doesnt bother me that much.

 

Mine does that all the time too. Sometimes it goes up and down the first time and other times it takes 15 minutes to get it to move.

My solution is to put the window down, take the top off and put a bikini top on. I only have the top on my truck for a few weeks a year. But I know thats not paractical for everyone since my truck is not my daily driver.
