Got a new(to me t4r) // High idle when warm/cold 91 4runner v6

Friend of mine cut me a good deal on his 91 so I guess I'm part of the club now. I really like it so far. I own a 2000 and this one is a bit clunkier and the power is very lacking but for the price I really like it. It seems nearly as smooth on the freeway as the 2000. Hopefully I can keep it running a few years.
--------------------------------

It idles at around 1700 rpms

I did some searches and it seems theres 1000s of things, well dozens of things that can drive up idle speed haha

Thought I'd ask first what to look for first

I'll update on what I figure out

ummm...have you tried turning the idle down?

Assuming a v6 is similar to a 22re. (don't mess with the tps adjustments either...)
