HILUX SURF 92 lift questions....

I am looking to put in the Rough Country 4-5" lift kit into my HILUX SURF and the shop is unable to tell me whether or not the 4Runner kit will fit. Has anyone here done this mod and if so, what kit was used? I have not ran into any major parts differences between the Surf and the 4runner other than the trailer hitch and anything to do with the engine.....

No, the Surf is a diesel right hand drive 4Runner with cool options. The only difference in suspension/ steering is that the idler arm and pitman arm are now on the oposite side when compared to a 4Runner.

A fair number of these are driving around Vancouver (the real one, not the one in Washington state).

I honestly don't know that I could get use to driving on that side of a vehicle... that would just be weird to me...

No reason why it would not fit... but if in doubt check over on the uk hiluxsurf site there are some links to some uk off road shops that sell lifts and they can calm your fears...

If you want the little wing mirror super check with some of our jdm members... cduff had one a while back I recall and another guy had a few as well... cbrsport is in the process of moving to turkey [PCS] so he is not available anymore unfortunately... check ebay.au as well they frequently show up there...
