I am looking for a 3 inch suspension lift for my 2001 Tacoma 2.4 2wd. I have looked into the Fabtech 3 inch and wanted to see if anyone had any experience? The big question is if the fact that my rear axle sits on top of the leaf springs would do anything.

 

It said that it was a add-a-leaf.

 

So your truck is spring under?
Then an add a leaf wouldnt lift it too much

 

have you thought of putting the axle below the leafs?
this should give you about 3"s lift!

 

Doing a spring over conversion would be a good way to gain lift if done right. If you or someone you know is capable of doing the work it would be fairly inexpensive. I'm guessing that it is a 5 lug wheeled Tacoma. ToyTec (Click Here) has lifts for your year but not for 5 lug. Call Doug at ToyTec. He should be able to help you. He may have a lift that is not listed that will work.

I'm not sure what the difference the amount of lugs has to do with the suspension.

 

I emailed toytech and they dont carry anything for the 2wd 5 lug.

 

Call Alcan they will make you leafs for what ever lift you want!!!

not sure about the front! I run OME!

I really do like my set up!

The only time I do not like the ride is when wheeling too hard, damn sway bars!!!

I will take them off some day!
